Special features:
The school features a playground facility for all to enjoy, an outdoor rink, ball diamonds, and soccer field, and is situated next to the community curling rink.
We run a Compressed School Week (CSW) resulting in an organization base of nine school days per two-week block, rather than the five school days per one-week block.
All parents are encouraged to attend and become involved with our School Council.
Programs:
Junior high students enjoy alternating Career and Technology Studies (CTS) programming, including fine arts, sewing, photography/yearbook, cooking, physical training, outdoor education, small engines, building construction, robotics, and cosmetology. The County of Grande Prairie preschool program is housed within the school.
The school also offers special programs, including speech pathology services, counseling, early literacy intervention, and a complete swimming program for elementary students. Students also participate in extracurricular events such as sports, elementary and junior high intramurals, Student Leadership Group planned activities, Mentorship Hour, and many cultural events.
Sports:
Elmworth Eagles compete in volleyball, badminton, track and field, and basketball.

- Special programs: E.C.S., Early Literacy Intervention, Counselling, Inclusive Education, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Our playschool program is run by the F.C.S.S.
- We fundraise throughout the year for both the school and the community.
